Flexible ceramics is a project that keeps being in development with new ways of making and looking at the shapes I produce to figure out ways of expressing it’s technique.

In this Project I try to express some of the possibilities of the flexible moulds by making a system to cast nine mugs simultaneously. These mugs influence and infect each others shape while being cast. Which provides a collection of mugs that have a strong relation to each other, each being unique.

The series presented here are made in Cornwall in the ceramic studio of David Metcalf and Yola Balfour who I had a wonder full time with.
